Massage Therapist

Page discovered her love of bodywork in college while studying theater. Classes showed her the benefits of stretching and late-night group studies let her discover her talent for getting rid of headaches with neck & shoulder rubs.  Looking to refocus after a career in retail, Page decided to back up her instincts with an education to give her career choice of Massage Therapy a better grounding. She graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 1995.  Always having a therapeutic focus to her work, Page practiced on family & friends early in her new profession. A few years later she settled in at a new studio in Seven Fields, where she served 16 years as a full-time therapist before joining Body by Design.
Throughout her career Page has added to her education by pursuing aspects of bodywork that both interested her and would prove most useful for her clients. Among those studies are Reflexology, Active Isolated Stretching, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy Massage, Aromatherapy, and especially Ortho-Bionomy.
Page has received her Associates Certification in Ortho-Bionomy, a gentle, positional release technique that allows her to address the deeper muscular problem and imbalances that can create some our most chronic problems like lower back issues, knee issues, shoulder issues and more. She is currently in the process of completing the 500+ hour program to receive her Practitioner’s Certification.
What was your answer the last time someone asked how you were feeling? If the answer wasn’t “Fabulous!” …it’s time for a massage.
