Heather L. Wimbish, BA, LMT, MTPT (Licensed Massage Therapist and Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist) received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Geneva College in 2003 and graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Pain Management in 2005. Since graduation she has been treating pain and increasing the range of motion in patients in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Heather currently serves as an officer on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists. Licensed and fully insured, Heather will help you reach your goal of recovery from pain and postural dysfunction. This will be achieved through systematic and comprehensive use of a variety of soft tissue manipulation techniques. The primary modalities Heather uses are Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and various therapeutic massage techniques. Each session is customized to meet your needs.
Payden Vietmeier, LMT, CMT, AT (Licensed Massage Therapist, Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, Aroma Therapist) graduated from The Pittsburgh School Of Massage Therapy in 2013. She has experience working with a form of weight loss massage called Endermologie. She also performed Ayurvedic massage and other holistic noninvasive Ayurvedic treatments under the guidance of the Ayurvedic doctor. Payden is a practicing Aromatherapist. She incorporates the use of essential oils and other natural healing oils during her treatments to improve her client’s mood and circulation and to reduce stress and anxiety. The primary modalities of massage that Payden practices are: Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Sports Massage, and Swedish Massage. Payden is very passionate about her work and puts the clients needs first. Each massage will be customized to fit the client’s needs. Payden’s desire is to create a compassionate and healing environment for her clients so that each person leaves as a stronger, happier and healthier individual.
Alison Daigle, LMT graduated from the Massage Therapy Training Institute in Las Cruces, NM in 2011. She has received additional training in Craniosacral Therapy and is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner. Alison incorporates a gentle healing energy into these modalities as well as Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and Lymphatic Massage. Each session is tailored to your physical and emotional needs. Alison believes strongly in the mind-body connection and that, when given a safe space of acceptance, the body can heal in amazing ways.
Kara Cooper LMT, graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2016. She was trained in many modalities and her favorites include Swedish, neuromuscular, reiki, myofascial and sports massage. Kara is excited to be on staff at Body by Design and looks forward to professional growth as she seeks to touch the lives, minds, bodies and spirits of her clients. She is determined to find her unique style by connecting with each client, helping them experience relief and understand their body more comprehensively. Kara provides a relaxing, balancing yet invigorating massage, combining energy work with deep tissue and a meaningful touch.
